Our values
Sailors are the first witnesses to the overall impact of man on this essential and fragile ocean environment. The time is no longer for observation, but for action.
Our innovative sustainability programme, “My Ocean Challenge” is supported by UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) and benefits from the support of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation.
It aims to act as a catalyst to help restore ocean health.Built for educators to use with kids aged 8-12 years old, it has been translated into 6 languages. This immersive, school learning programme gives children the opportunity to discover the excitement of sailing through following world races on board the IMOCA 60 Malizia, understand how ocean health is threatened and how carbon dioxide (CO2) is damaging our oceans – and how they can be part of the solution.
